Alamo Colleges Central 德州 Technology Center (CTTC)
阿拉莫大学区, has worked in partnership with New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation and 明升线上 Economic Development Board to bring the Central 德州 Technology Center (CTTC) to the New Braunfels, 明升线上和周边地区的居民.
The Center offers short-term workforce training programs that connect residents to emerging jobs in high-demand fields such as welding, 注册护士的援助, OSHA培训 and Licensed 职业护理.
The CTTC is also home to the Advanced Technology and 制造业 Academy (ATMA) and 信息技术 and Security Academy (ITSA) which provide workforce skills development and certifications programs for high school juniors and seniors. Dual credit classes are also offered to students that are still in high school, allowing them to earn college credits at no charge.
Customized training for employers at the CTTC or on-site can be tailored to offer upward job mobility and basic workplace and advanced technical skills development to their current employees. Partnerships with local business and industry provide potential employees with real-world experience and exposure to state-of-the-art equipment.

德克萨斯州立大学 英格拉姆工程学院 provides a pipeline of talent for manufacturers and other industrial business enterprises within the 明升线上 area. The School has three undergraduate degree programs in specific areas of engineering. The 制造业 and Industrial Engineering programs were bootstrapped through related existing programs in the Department of Engineering Technology.
